Looks like it is time to replace my o2 sensor. Has anyone tried the Walker sensor from FCP Groton? Do they work and/or are they any good?

    I like Groton just fine, but I got a Bosch 13913 (for a Ford) from Autozone for a little less money and no shipping. I cut off the supplied connector and spliced it in just like the generic. Crimp and use heat shrink wrap tubing with electrical tape around it all. Works great so far.

      I second that. Autozone even lend me the special tool to remove the sensor at no extra charge, just a deposit which you get back in full when you return the tool. For add'l info do a search here on the board on "Ford Mustang".

        Hello,

        i was wondering, the mustang oxygen sensor, is that for the newer 240's does that also apply for the older 240s (i have an 1981). i am asking because i just went to the kragen website and found that for my 1981 240, there is a bosch oxygen sensor (pn 11027) for $26.99.

        are the newer 240 different?

        just wondering.
