Is my car drunk? Part II 700 1991

Hello Again-

Well, this morning I drove to work and the car still stumbled/hesistated a bit on acceleration, but nothing as dramatic as the last few weeks. Kind of a "Hesitation Lite" I wondered if it was because I "Fonzied" the fuel pump when I had the cover off. Then I noticed the radio had no power.

I had been messing around the relay/fuse board pulling the fuel pump relay to relieve pressure and I must've bumped something under there.

Does this relate to the mysterious Radio Suppression Relay or could my half-assed, self-wired car stereo be the source of my problems?

Thanks for any wise words you might have!

Best
mp

The radio suppresion relay has nothing to do with the radio directly. That is part of the fuel injection system and and is meant to help prevent frequencies being generated that might interfear with your radio.

I think it's under the hood next to (and identical to) the relay for the electric fan. If in any doubt about it funcioning properly, just swap the two, identical black relays.
