my car's missing the grille. i've been all over, and i can't seem to find anywhere that sells my grille. however, i have found grilles for 740's from other years. i was wondering if there was another model or year whose grille could be used in my car. or, if not, if anyone knows of a good place to find grilles. thanks.

A 1991 needs a grill off a 1991 or later 740/940. Do note whichever car it came off of, the headlights must match too.

At least it wasn't a 1990 - that's totally an odd-one-out year.

1989 and earlier were different yet again.

I've been pretty happy with Aarons Auto Supply. They typically have what I need even though it does not show up on a search.
However, a search shows they have a chrome one for $150.

A good secondhand grille for a 700 in Britain would cost about £10 at worst. However, it is pretty rare to find one for the facelifted 700 in a junkyard...

Would a 900 grille fit a 1989-on 700? :)
