injector cleaning 700

Have an 87 740 Turbo that I just had to replace injector resistor pack on, but while troubleshooting before finding that was prob, switched injectors back and forth. I now naturally want to replace seals, tips but also clean if possible, dont want to send out to shop but do myself, any ideas how without air compressor at home, also how to kill fuel pump but still be able to open injectors to at least be able to pour something into them to minimally clean them, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks man,if you only remembered where you saw that contraption I'd be sittin pretty. I've heard I can shut off or dissconnect the main fuel pump and still get juice to the injectors but I need someone with more knowledge than me to expand on a scenario to do this job.

Amazing what you can find in the FAQs, if you look.

Don't know all the details, but I saw a homebrew contraption made with Noid lights that had the injector(out of the car)and current supplied by a car battery. The Noid light supplied the current to open the injectors, sprayed with injector cleaner and saw black gunk flush out. Car runs great now.
good luck,
