I bought a third seat for my 240 and did a search for the 3rd seat installation and came up empty handed. Does anyone have any instructions or photo's of the installation they could share, or weblink?? It will be greatly appreciated thank you in advance,

    Before you begin work, verify that the seller sent you the angle iron that fits underneath the car. It is necessary to bolt a catch on to this angle iron as the catch will hold the seat in place in case of an accident. In addition, make sure they sent the brackets that fit under the rear wheelwell on the outside of the car. The seat belt will bolt into these and is an added necessary safety feature. 99% of sellers blow past these in their haste to yank a seat out of a car and sell it on ebay.

        i am one of those who did not get the angle iron.i emailed the seller,hope he has it!but i do have the manual for 3rd seat installation and will send you a copy if you need it.blessings,kris ,email me ,kriscarlson22447@yahoo.com

          Mine didn't either. Amazing though, you can always count on the person ripping the seats out of the boneyard not to get it so, guess what, I found a wagon at the local boneyard with the third seat missing but the angle iron and wheelwell brackets still there.

            hi,i just got a reply from the person who sold me my 3rd seat on e-bay . he said he has sold about 10 3rd seats and never knew about the angle iron,obviously he had never put a 3rd seat in ! blessings,kris
