Any one know where the 25-amp fuel pump fuse is located on the 1993 240s?

It is not where it is located on my 1990 240, which is a little ways behind the battery moving in the direction of the driver.

I understand it was moved because of the well known reliabilty issues, but I can't for the life of me find where it has been relocated to. Obviously useful infornmation if it someday starts acting troublesome. Anyone know? Thanks!

    In 91 it got moved to the fuse panel inside -- #6.

      Thanks! Found it.

      Interestingly, the fuse list on the label on the back of the cover plate has no text in slot 6, but rather is blank, but importantly the fuse was in slot 6 (obvious since the fuel pump is working fine). This 240, purchased by me new, was produced in the last full month of 240 production, April, 1993.

      My other 1993, a 240 wagon, does have the slot 6 "fuel pump fuse" identification on the label on the back of the fuse cover plate, and this car's production date is November, 1992.

        Are you thinking same as I they were trying to use up old 240s parts stock to build the last few? Could have been a replacement too, if you were not the original owner. Wonder if the owner's manual says anything about the fuses...

          Yes, I am thinking that they may have been trying to use up old 240s stock parts.

          And yes, I am the original owner (ordered it from the factory in February, 2003, a few days after factory orders were officially stooped: had to have a 5-speed with locking differential, and they didn't exist at the time in the white color I wanted).

          I checked both 1993 owner's manuals, and they are the same: on page 93 an itemized listing of the fuses in slots 1--16 appears. Slot 6 is blank in both books.
