Durable Motor Mount replacements anyone? 200 1985

Well, while changing the oil in my NA 240, I noticed that the motor mounts I had installed about 20 thousand miles ago had failed. The driver's side mount is all but separated(the top plate is coming loose it looks like) and the passenger side is bulging BAD. When I changed them before, I used scantech mounts from FCP groton and I seem to remember they were deemed to be made of a harder rubber that held up better. Apparently not.

Now, does anyone have a source for motor mounts that last? I am less concerned with vibration coming through into the cabin than I am changing these things every 6 months. I noticed FCP has a new brand, MTC. Are they any good? Or, can you use the diesel or turbo mounts on the B230f? I also heard someone made taxicab mounts. Does anyone know where I can get those?

Thanks for the input.

6 months is a gross overstatement concerning motor mount failure. They are made to allow the engine to break free and drop in a head on. Might save some lives or limbs.
