No oil reaching rocker arms on B20

I recently overhauled a B20 , about 300 miles ago and the oil pump refreshed the top of the head (rocker arms) with plenty of motor oil.
I could tell this when I adjusted the valves a couple of times to .018. for a E head. I also have the IPD (Isky) double valve springs and pushrod setup. Now, the other day, it started ticking louder than usual but had to "get home".

When I took off the valve cover , the #2 exausht valve Isky (IPD) pushrod was be-headed into crumbs and the #3 ex. pushrod head is cracked badly.
The whole rocker arm area is 'bone dry'. YES, I CHECKED the hole or cavity in the head after the machine shop did there work that feeds the oil to the rocker arms and it was perfectly 'clear'.

Now, when cranking the engine over with the rocker arm off, there is no oil at all coming through that #3 oil hole that distributes oil to the rocker arms ! The oil pressure guage reads around 35 lbs. just by cranking.

Has anyone had the experience of that tube coming loose off the oil pump?

I hat to pull the whole engine again....... Sad Duck

If the tube came off the oil pump you would NOT be reading 35#.
Something is plugged between the top and bottom. Might be a mis-installed
cam bushing, the one with 2 holes in it.

George, When I overhauled the engine, I never took the fiber timing gear off or cam out of its place.
The engine worked fine for 20,000 miles before this new re-ring and new 'E'head.

I can't believe the the cam bearings shifted.

The oil pressure guage copper tubing is placed where the old oil pressure idiot sensor was on the side of the block.

Doesn't that oil pump tube supply oil to that internal engine cavity to the head?
I appreciate any help, I really don't want to pull the engine. Duck

I guess the next thing to do is pull the head and crank the engine and see
if oil gets to the top of the block. I guess there is a possibility that
the opening in the headgasket is not letting oil through (or maybe the
headgasket doesn't have a hole there??). Obviously something is stopped up
        somewhere.

If you had enough force there to break pushrods, you'd better check out
valvestem fit anyway. They are pretty sturdy.
