How do you remove the rear headrests on the 740 wagon? I have no owners manual and can't figure it out. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks guys. Will try this evening by pulling up and looking for button under seat cover. I looked yesterday and could not pull them out by force,I'll look for some kind of button to push today. Installing a waterpump and timing belt was easier! Thanks again.I'm going to drive this car forever.

On my 1990 745 the rear headrests are removed by simply grabbing hold of them and pulling them upwards to release them.

It's a shame that the fronts don't come out as easily...

Oh, but they do. Just press the buttons under the upholstery about 4" from top of the backrest where the headrest rods run down and pull up.
