Turbo opinions are like ....... 200 1983

OK, let me have it! Want to upgrade the turbo on my 83 244T (auto). For now, everything else will remain stock, with other engine performance mods down the road (probably nothing over 300hp). Stick with the 48/48?, go to a 48/60, or all the way to a 60/63? I'm not sure how driveability will be affected with the bigger turbo/auto trans combo. I'm willing to put up with a certain amount of lag, but don't want it to be rediculous. It will still be my everyday driver. OPINIONS?

Thanks - Bill

. . . become a regular member of TurboBricks.

I know that's not quite what you're looking for, but those guys definitely have all of the info about tuning a turbo Volvo. Here on the Brickboard, the concern is more for just keeping it running in tip-top, OEM shape.

Does that mean you won't have anything more to say about your suspension?
