AC leak detector 200

I will be installing the Volvo retro fit kit for 134a into my 1990 240dl.I purchased a leak detector dye from the auto parts store,I know there is a leak somewhere. This stuff is supposed to show up red!It says to add to system using the 'low" side.My question is the low side is the 'dish' side [red] on the compressor, yes. And the high side is the 'suc' side[blue].just want to make sure. thanks
Nelson

Low side is the suction side. It can be identified by following the large diameter hose fromthe firewall over the engine to the compressor. itis usually blue
The high pressure port usually has the red cap and is the smaller diameter hose going from the compressor to the condensor( radiator looking thing in front of the radiator)

Note that if the dye is ultraviolet indicating, you will need a UV lamp and some glasses.
