VDO KIENZLE Clock on an 1800? 1800

Hi all...has anyone ever heard of a VDO KIenzle Clock( the one with the flourecent orange hand) on an 1800? I saw one in a 1970E and wondered if it went with that or....I thought all those clocks were smiths etc...Thanx all in advance..L18

They were! It's likely a situation of someone gutting the housing, recycling the Smiths clock, and replacing it.

VDO KIENZLE Clock on an 1800? 1800

I just bought a VDO Clock that came out of a 1973 1800ES that I put in my 1970 1800E. I don't know if it was an original in th eES or a replacement. It fits perfect.
