I just saw a recent post about mounting these badges and it reminded me...I have an 87 245 with 405,000 miles and am missing some of the badges. Does anyone know if Volvo will reissue these badges if you lose them?

I am just less than an oil change away from the big 300,000 mile mark. I'm looking for a 300,000 high mileage medallion myself. I haven't had much luck finding the "old" style medallion, but I did find this:



It's dull, drab, and uninspiring, but it's all I could find. Maybe we should draft Dave Barton to design a series with his famous "Prancing Moose" on it. Something to think about. Good lick on your search. If you find a place where the "old" style medallions are sold, post it!

If you go to volvocars.com, you can get to the HMB site, but all you'll get will be a window decal. ebay will be your best bet. I was able to obtain all of mine back in the day including my 400K badge just before they cut off the program. I'm now on the hunt for my 500K badge. Wish me luck & good luck to you.

I got the 300k badge for my V70 last summer. Their next denomination is 500K.

Searched and searched - don't mean to stomp on your thread...I've seen the magnet mounting approach and am not a fan. Just got my 200K badge, have the 100K badge in the glove (which I got while Volvo was still issuing them).

How did you mount these on the grill?

Does anyone have the # to call or where to ask for the badges??? Thanks!

You'll probably need to go to the dealer and ask for a form. These are usually in the parts department, at least at my local dealer. Supposedly, you can request these on the Volvo website, too, but I have not had any luck with much of anything on their site. Better to send in a hard form, I think.

A couple of years ago I asked Volvo for the 100k and 200k badges since I bought my car with over 100k on it. They sent me the 200k badge only.

They give the badges away for free so why not a few missing ones. Good PR for them with old vehicles displaying 200..300...400K+ miles.

After I bought my wagon in Oct of 2009, I hopped on the Volvo website and joined their
high mileage club.

They sent me a certificate with a sticker, although it isn't the old style.

So I have the old style 100k badge and the new white square 200k badge.
