As I previously posted, my car is at a shop that is trying to overcharge and has not been pleasant working with thus far. So does anybody know of any good shops/junkyards/engine rebuilders/etc that would give me a good deal in the Seattle/Tacoma area?

I've had good service from Daisywagen on 45th and Ravenna in Seattle. They are a Volvo-only repair shop, but I've never had anything major like an engine rebuild done there. Never any bad experiences with them so far.

Um. The only Volvo only shop in Tacoma I know of is ART WORKS in University Place. Hopefully they aren't the ones that are ripping you off...
They might also be able to recommend someone/someplace?

I'm currently at a shop that specializes in volvos and saabs called the Swedish Connection. Apparently they've been around for a while, but holy crap are they flaky. My experience with them has not been a good one thus far.
