While stumbling around recently, I found this web-page with a picture of a Corvair side-mirror at the top. It looks pretty retro, space-age (fins) and a suitable candidate for use as a mirror on a 122. What do you guys think? :

I'm hoping a reproduction of this type of mirror might be pretty affordable. I have no finger on the pulse of resto products for American cars though.

    You can try clark's corvair in the us. If anyone can find it it's them.

      Yvan is quite right, Clark's (www.corvair.com) has anything and everything for the Corvair. Their catalog page listing the mirrors is http://www.corvair.com/user-cgi/catalog.cgi?function=goto&catalog=MAIN§ion=MAIN&page=303. Most of the mirrors wear the Chevy bowtie, but some don't -- and those are listed as the "money savers!"
