Fuel Pump Relay clicking away 200

Wondering what causes the fuel pump relay to energize and pull in the contacts to power the pumps? I have re-soldered my relay but it intermittently clicks away while driving or idling causing the pumps to turn on and off. This is obviously causing hesitation, bucking and jerking. Any help would be great. I have changed out a bunch of stuff in the last few weeks.

Thanks
Chris

Could be faulty contact in the harness connector plug itself. I would "un-tab" each terminal to release it, and make sure they are all well-crimped to the wires, especially the Blue/Green ground to the ECU.

The only fuse inline with the relay coils is the 25 Amp one near the Ign. Coil. It wouldn't hurt to clean or replace it.

Be good to try another relay too.

Try spinning your fuses around to make sure you're getting good contact. If that doesn't help (it probably won't), replace the relay. You could have a wiring problem, but probably it's just a bad relay. Resoldering doesn't always fix them.
