in need of a fuel tank sending unit for the fuel guage for my 1966 122 sedan. Any used in good working condition out there?

    I used a universal unit from VDO (10-180 ohms). Works well-needs to be modified to fit, but not too hard- Summit Racing (part number # VDO-226001D) has them for $27 + shipping:

    Once in a while you can find one on ebay. new ones are $$$ and used
    ones are usually worn pretty bad. Some repairs are feasible if you
    are dexterous and skillful with a soldering arn.
