Seat Covers 200

Does anyone have opinions on the IPD front seat covers? They're currently on sale for $162. Are they worth it or are there better sources to consider?

I've heard good things about the ipd covers but have never tried them myself. This is another company that seems to have a good reputation and a great deal of variety, Marathon Seat Covers. They sell covers for 240 and 740 Volvos.

The seat covers on my '92 244 were kind of worn and dingy, but I ruled out the IPD covers due to cost.
Instead I purchased a pair of front sheepskin seat covers from Rocky Mountain Sheepskin Co. Price for both was $150.00 (am pretty sure this was a 'sale' price, but it wasn't that long ago, may still be at this price...) plus shipping. Installation is a snap. I'm very pleased with the look and feel of these seat covers and would recommend them to anyone considering recovering.
I also have had these same covers in my Rover for over 2 years and they wear quite well.

I think that I have those seat covers on the buckets in my wagon. I don't know for sure, because the covers were on the seats when I bought the car. If what I have are the IPD covers (they look just like the picture on the IPD site), then I highly recommend them. They are two-piece, bottom + back, and fit like a glove. Once installed, they look like they could be factory upholstery.

Good luck,
Keith
