Quad round headlight conversion 200 1984

I just acquired a pair of quad round headlights from an '80 240. Having just grabbed them today, i haven't tried to install yet. Has anyone done this, and have maybe some thoughts to share?

    What condition are the removed quad-squares? The surrounds? The reflectors along the bottom of the surrounds?

    Are you anywhere near Houston, TX. ?

    The best thing is that you can now get proper lighting with replacement lamps (Ciebie, Hella) which use H4 bulbs for hi/low, and H1 high beams. Used that setup for years on my Opels and Saab, until the cars moved away from standard-sized headlamps.

      Love that look, Wonder If I can get them to mate on my '89. It's nice to just replace the inner bulbs but I don't likek the look of those clumsy yellowed lenses.
      I know you took out the Squares but I like the look of that more then my Lenses too.

    Did you get the sub-harnesses for them? 5.75 wires differently than 4x6 - for the outers.

      I think you'll be able to just untab the wires and move them to the correct position in the socket.

      I went from four round to four rectangle and was stumped for quite awhile because thought the connections were the same.
