122/1800 steering wheel 120-130

I have seen 1800 steering wheels in 122s and the other way around. Will all steering wheels from either model fit the other? What about 544s and 444s?

Ok this is interesting. I just bought a P1800 steering wheel (the groovy two spoke aluminium one) assuming it would drop straight onto my Amazon 131 steering column but the splines differ. What needs to be done to make it fit? Is the P1800 steering column in two sections? If so will the top half fit the Amazon bottom half?

Along this line of conversation, anyone out there got a part number and source for a Momo steering wheel hub. Actually, Momo is not essential.... any compatible hub will do. I just want to upgrade my steering wheel to something a little more sporty for my 64 220.

I checked with the local Checker Auto and they can order the hub kit for the Grant wheels...I haven't bought it so I can't give any other advice...

1800s with drum brakes will have steering wheels that fit 122s while 1800s with disk brakes all around will have steering wheels that fit 140s. I'm not
100% sure about wheels from 69 1800s. I've got a bowtie wheel from a 122 that looks just like a 140 wheel but doesn't fit. Drat.

There *might* be differences between a 1800s and 1800e... not sure about htat though.

544's freely interchange. 444 wheels do with slight issues - they have less dish and might sit uncomfortably close to the dash, and the turn signal cancel post is 90 degrees off, but they do look really neat and vintage.
