The Miracle of Solder 200 1982

Hello,

I am restoring my 82 242 and have been working on a high idle problem (CIS). I thought I would give my self a brake and go through some of the glove box items. Inside I found my old St. Christopher medal that I had for over 35years. The pin on the back was broken off so I repaired it by soldering the pin to the medal. When I was done the medal was re-attached to the rug near the gear shifter. When I went back to working on the car, a strange thing happened. The idle worked perfectly and still does. I have two questions about this:

Was the medal made on the same production line as the Fuel Pump/OD relay

Why didn't Don Foster warn me about this problem.

Mario

Place the medal on a wall, with dim light. The image of St.Foster should appear.

    Was St. Christopher Swedish?

    St. Kristofer? Kristenhofer?

    I'm starting my pilgrimage...

On the way I'll swing by the 1984 245 in Peoria with the rust in the floor panel that looks remarkably similar to the image on the shroud of Turin.
