oil on my glow Plug--diesel 700 1985

had a no start on my 745 Tdiesel and started replacing the glow plugs to find that glow plug #3 was covered in motor oil...to my knowledge this is bad..help.

    Just means the glow plug is burned out as it didnt burn off the remaining oil during the preheat cycle. I would check all the plugs at this point given you have a no-start condition then move to the injection system.
