re: brake light/turn signal issues 200 1987

i would like to know if it's possible to rewire my rear lights by bypassing the circuit board ie: using spade connectors to directly wire then to the wires in plug. i do not want to spend $100 dollars plus for new assemblies! it does look possible considering the terminals are already there.

1987 244dl 180k and counting recently bought for $100 (how can you hate it?)

You could do that, with a lot of cutting & splicing, etc.

Or you could replace the circuit laminates (1312420, 21) for $19 each from FCP Groton or other online sources
