ACC fan, always on 700 1985

i have an 85 760t w/ acc. when the car warms up, the fan comes on just fine, but when i move the controll lever all the way to the left,[off] the fan motor still runs, like on low, is there some switch or sensor that has failed? what do i need to check and where is it and how much does it cost? thanks Adam

Does this occur only in AC mode? If so, you don't have a problem. If AC is on, then the fan automatically runs at low.

the ac belt is off right now, so it dosent matter if i have the temp at 85 or 65, its constantly on

Sounds like either a fault switch or some bad wiring. I've never had the chance to look at the 760 climate control but I know that it is more complicated than the 740 climate control. So, maybe the computer running the unit went bad.
