Check engine 2-3-2 200 1992

Hi all,

Anybody out there that can tell me what a 2-3-2 error code would be on a 240 -92?

I tried searching but nothing came up (probably just me). Is there a complete listing of the error codes for different models anywhere?

Cheers,

/elias

Check engine 2-3-2 200 1992

Im mistyfied by this but, I had a check engine light with that 2-3-2 code for the longest, I couldnt get rid of it no matter what. But, I changed batteries a couple of weeks ago, and the engine light has not been back since.

Previously disconnecting the battery would cause the light to go out, but it would be back on within a day or two. since changing the battery its been out for 2 wks. The car runs fine.

I dont understand, but thats whats happening. This may be significant. Or not.

Lawrence

I'm working on the same problem. Codes 232 followed by the infamous check engine light about every 150 miles. Clear codes and system, then 150 miles latter it's back. Reminds of a hardrock girlfriend from many years back, only I finally got rid of her. Gone though the system numerous times and replaced about everything imaginable. ABout to try different ECU and AMM. Let me know what you come up with.

2-3-2 is "fuel system compensating for rich or lean air/fuel mixture at idle"

Check the FAQ's for codes - I think they're listed there. My info is from the Bentley manual.
