Ground connectors on Fuel Rail 900

Hello-

I'll be replacing a busted hold-down bolt on my fuel rail (otherwise my replacement of the injector seals was successful) this weekend. Since the Chilton's wiring diagrams are nowhere near as informative (to me) as those in my VW's Bentley, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me just what the two ground (I assume) connectors are that act as washers on two of the bolts that hold down the fuel rail?

Thanks

My CD on the 940 doesn't seem to have that information either. However, the Bentley manual for the 240 shows 1987 and newer NA cars use these connections for grounds for the LH control unit, the EZK 116 ignition unit, the ignition system power stage and the O2 sensor. My guess is the 940 is similar. In anycase, these and all other ground connections are important. Clean them and protect with a grease as suggested below.

Those are indeed ground connectors. Clean them off, protect with OxGard conductive grease, and reinstall them. See the FAQ for more info on grounds.
