Will the entire carpet from an 87 245 automatic wagon fit properly into an 81 242 with an M46?

The floorpans are the same, so the carpet should fit, except that
the door pillars and seat belt mounts are further back on a 242
than on a 244/245, so you'll have to make new holes for the
seatbelt mounting studs. Also, the area molded into the carpet
for the seatbelt retractors will be in the wrong place, but you
should be able to make it fit. It might just look a tad bit wierd.
The section of the carpet in front of the front ceats should certainly
by ok.
.
good luck,
-b.

Hello,

Can't say that it wouldn't. You may see a small issue with the doors on a 242 being longer, but nothing that couldn't be hidden/adjusted out of view.

Hey if it's cheap... what the heck!!!
