How do you remove the entire back seat in a wagon? 200 1980

I found a 1979 245 with a really nice back seat that I want to put into my '80 wagon.

Now, how exactly do I get the back seat out of this thing? I'm gonna have to pull the 2 Latches on either side as well, as the ones on my wagon are no good any longer.

How can I get the up carpet to disconnect the screws along that "fold down" piece in the back with out tearing it up?

Thanks as always.

The seat bottom is easy. The seat back is a little harder but not that bad. Picture a round screw head about the size of a dime but twice as thick. Now that screw is spring loaded and attached to the rear seat. To remove using a large screw driver you pry that screw head out from the seat and pull up on the seat. It should release. Then do the other side. The part attached to the body is rigid and is where this spring loaded head locks into. When it is pryed out from seat it can be released.

The pivots at the bottom of the seat back are sort of mushroom-shaped bolts. They are spring loaded (in or out, I can't remember which), and you need a long screwdriver to lever it out (I think) so that the head disengages from the fitting on the bodywork. Then it will lift up the slot.
Having got one end out you need to wedge the seat with something to stop it falling back down while you do the other.

With the seat out you will see how the hinged flap thing works.

The catches are slightly different for different years - you may need to make shims to get the alignment right.
Good luck. I cursed a lot over this one until someone told me the trick!
