240 classic with m47 200

I was looking at ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=31877&item=2455522313 and I saw a 1993 240 classic with th five speed transmission. I didn't know that was an option for that car. Or was it? I thought they discontinued it after the '91 model year. Well I was just curious. Well at least in looking at that picture, I can tell that 240s really age well even with high miles.

Yep, the 5 speed was an option on the classics, although it's very rare. I've driven 245s from both 92 and 93 with the stick.

My 93 came with an M47. It was the M46 overdrive option that they discontinued. I retro-fitted one from an earlier model because I love overdrives.
