240 LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS- What Brand to buy?!! 200

Hi,
I replaced the bushings in the rear of my 240 (torque rod, etc) approx.two years ago. Now, about 20,000 miles later, they are falling apart! These were aftermarket bushings. I have not seen this happen before. The original Volvo bushings were in the car when I bought it, and the car was at almost 300,000 miles. Amazing. Now I have to replace those bushings, and I also need to replace the front lower control arm bushings. I know that the polyurethane are recommended for the torque rod bushings, but has anyone found a good brand for the rest of the bushings, other than Volvo? OR, should I just spring for the Volvo name?
Thanks for any input!
Mike

I've finally put up a page with RTA bushing comparisons.

      http://www.homestead.com/volvo2/RTA.html

The Boge RTA bushings available from FCP for less than half the dealer cost of genuine Volvo parts are the same as the ones from the dealer. I'd check with FCP and see if they have the same brand available for the front lower control arms also, if not I'd bite the bullet and stick with Dealer parts.

IPD urethane bushings are high quality, but for control arms I would spring for the Volvo bushings. A few people have mentioned how the aftermarket control arm bushings haven't lasted very long. Personally I wouldn't hesitate to use urethane for the sway bar mountings and end link bushings, but I'd stick with the Volvo rubber on the control arms to avoid the stiff ride.
