240 Turbo cam seal 200

It appears I have a front cam seal blowing oil. So much so that it flooded the distributor enough that it now misfires. I guess I'm gonna have to fix it. Can it be fixed without removing the timing belt? I imagine the book says yes, but I'm hoping brickboarders may know of an easier fix. My timing belt only has about 5k miles on it.
Thanks,
Mark
