Why do you think you have to flare brake lines to change the MC? The new one should bolt right up to the old lines w/out any modifications to the lines. If you've damaged a line and need to replace it, you could start with a straight section of brake line and bent it to shape. Brake lines come in many different lengths and you might find one that close enough. If not, then you have to be able to cut and double-flare (a single flare will leak) the line. This is tricky unless you know what you're doing and have the correct bending, cutting, and flaring tools. Better to just buy the correct, already bent, line from the dealer.

Beisdes which the 240 uses the ISO flare, not the old kind double like on 140 or American cars. You have to buy the tube already made if you need to replace one.
