1990 240 not running well without any error codes

this car runs,and allways makes it ,but it acts like it is starving for fuel
spark plugs look fine,(lean at best) new fuel filter,36-40 psi @ fuel rail,injectors seem to be working....I'm a mechanic ,but I'm at a loss at this point

    Most likely the amm. As a mechanic you know to check this part. It can be destroyed by a failing air box thermostat or just aging. I had the same symptoms and tried a used amm from a friend and voila!

    Exactly WHAT is your car doing?
    - engine stalling on acceleration
    - abnormally low gas mileage
    - rough idle
    - slow 0-60 times

    Does it have a manual or automatic transmission?

    Please provide a few more details...
