164 camshafts 140-160

I have been doing some anlysis on my 164 and have come to the concluion that i have a worn canshaft. Any information out there on replacement cost, where i get a camshaft from? The car is a 1973 164 with a b30 f engine. thanks. Adrian.

B30 -164 camshaft 140-160

I have a new (although it was installed in a new non-run shortblock) that I will sell if I can find a "D" or "K" grind.
This cam is a 1975 "C" grind, so let me know if you still need one and I'll try my damndest to find the cam I'm looking for!
I even have a Stage II head that is bare that I'll probably sell in order to help finance this project!

You're probably right. B20's and B30s are so notorious for wiping out
cams and lifters that there is a "Volvo B20 Cam and Lifter Test" for motor
oils. Thus far I have not been successful in getting particulars.

I have the IPD Street Performance cam in my 164 and I really like it.
Unfortunately, unless you can talk IPD or Isky into making one for you
they are pretty hard to find.

KGTrimning in Sweden has cams for B30s. A D or K cam should give you a nice
performance boost with good driveability. Be SURE and get new lifters for
it or you'll be back in the same shape pretty quick. There is a guy named
Friendly Fred that usually has some good lifters on ebay, made by Sealed Power.
They work with OEM pushrods, unlike the shorter IPD lifters.
