I need someone or a shop in AZ to help me with my valves and carbs 120-130

I appreciate everyone's help with my valve questions but I couldn't turn my engine with any of the methods told. Does anyone know someone in the scottsdale, phoenix, tempe area of AZ who could show me how to do it and work on my carb. I'm getting really poor gas mileage, I'm hoping these will help.

You can always just pull the coil wire and turn the engine over with the starter - that's what I normally do. I just keep an eye on the 'indicator' valve (opposite the one I'm going to adjust - i.e. 1 and 8, 2 and 7, 3 and 6, 4 and 5) and bump the engine around until it goes down - then I adjust the other one.

As for the carbs - just do a Google search on "SU carb tuning" and you'll find hundreds of pages describing how to set them. It's hard to get them set perfectly, but easy to get them pretty close.
