www.scandcar.com in the Netherlands, very low price, excelent personal service, and "normal" postage less than 2 weeks. You will find the part locally, but I would first check the price... ScandCar deals only in older Volvos.

Hi. I wasn't the one who asked, but I happened to read your reply -- that site sounds just what I need, too (one of my Volvos is a '75 164, very hard to get parts because it's an intermediate or changeover model year).

No problem. When in a tight spot, this guy sends me parts even before I pay, and I'm in New Zealand! Here they've started only with the 240-series, so lacal suppliers can not even cross-reference my '71 144S to generic parts, other than the Strombergs!

Volvo Parts Department. They have them for PVs and Amazons, so I would assume they have them for 140s.
