Quick Question.. in the open cabin of my 245, what kind of subwoofer enclosure would be best to use (bandpass, sealed, vented)?

Thanks

I really like your 245. I'm putting 2 MTX 15" Subs and a 1600 Watt Amp into mine. Couple of quick questions.. where did you get your enclosure, and how dark is that tint. I'm going to be tinting mine soon, and just was wondering.

Thanks

Rob,

Sounds like you have what you'll need to get some good punch.

The enclosure was built for me custom by the shop that I bought the subs from. It's nothing special. Straigth spec from the owner's manual.

Tint is 35 % up front and 15% in the back. Legal all the way.

Happy Bricking!!!

Richard.

Rob,

Your best choice would lie in either a vented or bandpass enclosure. The trick with bass is to get air moving and lord knows there is a lot of it in a 245. I have a pair of Rockford Fosgate Punch HX10's mounted in a vented box, with a 1000 watts of peak power behind them.

Check out my webpage for what I have done...
