Are these distributors interchangable?

1988 240 DL B230F

The distributor on my car is part #0237520004 JH4(Bosch, compliant at least). There is a distributor on VolvoWorld for a B230F engine (same as my engine) marked Bosch 0237506001 JH4. Are these interchangeable? If so, my current one has no vaccuum; what if the new one does have a vaccuum, what do I hook it up to?

Your ignition computer takes care of the vacuum advance- you would not connect the vacuum line. I don't think you will find a distributor with a vacuum advance unit on it though...
If the part is listed to fit any 85-88 240, it will work for yours.
