strut rod bolt question. 900

Dont ask me how, but the bolt that goes through the control arm into the strut rod backed itself out and got lost somewhere along with the outer cone bushing. I'm going to hit the junkyard tomorrow to see if I can get a replacement bolt. My hope is that the bolt will be pretty much the same from any 200/700/900? Can it be possible?

    strut rod bolt question. 900

    Hi
I know that its the same between the 900 and 700 Series.
You should put some locktight on the thread before puting it in again, and tighten it with the recommended torque (rather a bit more!).
You may check all the other bolts as well, -- maybe the mechanic who tightened them previously had a bad day.
    Best, hans

The mechanic who tightened them would be me, and yes I was having an off-day. :) Off to the boneyard I go. :) Thanks.
