Which Master Cylinder do I have? 200 1978

I have been having problems with intermittant spongy brake pressure in my '78 245. I bled the brakes which removed quite a bit of air from both of the back brakes (front were clear). The problem has now returned, and after consulting two friends who are mechanics it seems like the master cylinder may be at fault.
I called the auto parts store to order a new one, but discovered that they used three different cylinders.
The cylinder that is in the car currently has "B1-TVS" stamped on both the cylinder and the reservoir cap. One brake line connects to it near the rear on the engine side, and the other connects in the front. Any suggestions on how to figure out what I have here?

According to FCP Groton, (http://www.fcpgroton.com/volvo240brake.htm#brake_hydraulics) there is only one for 78-91 cars. I've replaced several and never had trouble ordering one from these guys. They've even got a picture of it on that page.

BI-TVS is the standard replacement company (mostly Indian-made components which I think are junk) that many discount parts places use.
FCP sells the genuine ATE products- good stuff.

I agree that any master other than ATE is questionable. The info they need is which side the primary pipe exits on. Canadian DL Volvos that used the thin booster on carbureted B21's had the primary exit (nearest the driver) on the left side. Fuel injected engines had the longer tandem booster, and had the exit on the right side. Those are the only two masters I know of used on the 240's.
