When given specs for duty cycle, how do I convert these figures to a standard dwell meter on 4 cylinder scale?

      Please post your information for us all. Is it possible to use an old Sears engine analyzer to show the duty cycle of the frequency valve? How to hook up?

        Multiply duty cycle by .9 to acheive dwell meter reading for 4 cylinder. Depending on which year and model your car is, there is a red wire sticking loose from the harness on the driver's fenderwell, either near the battery, or closer to the firewall. Connect poitive from your tester to this lead and ground your negative lead.

        100% duty cycle equals 90 degrees dwell.
