BOV 900

Hi,

Is ther a aftermarket BOV for my car. I have the B230FT engine..not sure which turbo i got..how do i check..Either a Garrett T25 or a Mitsubishi TD04. Intercooled.

    Why would you want one? Both Garrett and Mitsubishi have integral CBVs which work fine.

      What is a CBV? I researched it and i found out that some are using the ones for the porsche. Is this a good performance upgrade? Here is the link:

        BOV 900

        The CBV is mounted on the discharge side of the turbo. In the picture it is mounted with three bolts at an angle on the casting just below the outlet.

          I found it... 900

          ...Mine is the Mitsu TD04.i have the CBV that is not mounted in an angle..So has anyone ever tried replacing theirs with the Porsche CBV..Is the Mitsu TD04 a good Turbo performance wise..thanks.

            You should visti the turbobricks site. Yes, many have replaced the CBV with the Porsche unit. I have the part number somewhere.

            Your turbo is a great street driver, but those who want more performance upgrade to the TD05 or have the TD04 modified.
