If this is the maroon car in Conn. that Kathy is selling?? I had her send me some pics and info on the car and it looked to be pretty nice. You looked at it and I did not. For a second owner car with documentation it did not seem to unfair. I would buy it if I had the storage room to do so. From NADA.

The last 164 I bought was a 73 and I paid $700 for it. It had a few problems
but ran OK. I don't think I would buy one with an automatic for any price
except as a parts car, and it would lack the most important part - the tranny.
"BO" is a great price but I think $2500 is pretty high unless there are some
scintillating items about it we don't understand.

Don't keep looking at it. 140-160

The seller won't lower the price anymore if you do. This list has a majority of all the 164 fans in the world. If it goes to a less deserving person, so be it; a fundamental tenet of owning a 30 year-old driver is "lowest possible cost".
