Can't align E-codes...wacked??? Help!!! 200

Hey all, I've had my E-codes in for about two months now and I can't seem to get the beams aligned correctly even after attempting to adjust them via the knobs. No matter what they seem to be pointing away from the road and provide poor lighting (even with the brights). At first (before driving) I thought they were great but what is going on here?? I have PIAA bulbs and picked up the heavy duty wiring harness...took the car to my local Volvo guy to have him check them out and the wiring seemed fine. He mentioned something about the beam pattern on the glass...any suggestions?? They came from The Netherlands brand new, but do not say Volvo on them. Very difficult to see at night which should not be the case!!!!!
Thanks!

Although they came from the Netherlands, the lights nay be for a right hand drive car. If this is the case the lights will point to the left.In European countries with right hand drive cars the auto parts store something called "beam benders". Basically an adhesive prism to attach to the lens to correct the beam pattern. These are required say if you bring your car from Great Britian to France. You could also try switching lenes left to right to see if it helps. They may have added the wrong lens to the light. I think [not 100% sure] that the lenses are interchangeable. Good luck!

Nelson,
Yes I do recall reading somewhere about right-handed driving. The left and right lenses each point in their respective directions (ie. left lens points out left while the right points out right). Now it's the glass you're refering to correct?? Actually haven't thought about just switching the glass but I bet it is possible...I hope!!

Yes,it is the glass I was thinking about. Also check that the little white clips that hold the aiming screw is not broken. If any are broken or not set in place properly you will not be able to aim the light the right way. Also check the installation. I think there is a little wiggle room for installing the lights. Loosen the nuts and realign.Hope this helps.
