Where is the AC relay? 200 1980

Does anyone have an idea as to where the AC relay is on a '80 245?

Also, how can I tell which "side" of the Thermostat Switch is the hot side? I once knew how to do this, but I can't remember anymore... (I do have a test light somewhere.)

I'm beginning to troubleshoot my non-working AC, and this is the first step. I never hooked these things up when I replaced the heater fan because I couldn't find the AC relay, and I couldn't tell which side of the thermostat switch was hot. Once I do this, I'm going to see if I can get the compressor to "Clack" or not, but I'll bet anything it won't do a thing.

Thanks as always.

Where is the AC relay? 200 1980

According to Volvo manual the relay should be on the right side of the center console. Can't tell you what color it is but there's four wires.

White wire from relay (86) to blower switch (4).
Red from relay (D+61) to instrument panel connector 31-pin 4.
Green from relay (87) to a/c switch (either pin).
Blue-yellow from relay (15) to low side of fuse 12.
    Black from relay to ground.

No high or low side to a/c switch, it's just a SPST on-off type. Second terminal goes direct to clutch.
