I think it came out rather well... I ended up with the "urethane plus" treatment. Removed all the trim, molding, emblems, etc, before it went in. The guys all loved the car, and seemed happy I'd done some prep work myself. My favorite comment - "That thing runs quieter than my toyota with half the miles."

WOW... very impressive!! I've got a whole new respect for Maaco! Did they do the dent repairs too? Was there any rust they had to treat first?

Matt, the sky blue is a CLASSIC Volvo color. I must thankyou for keeping it an original "Volvo color"!! Although, I've got a sedan, I'd love a later model 245 one day... maybe a black one, maybe a sky blue one. Just nosy... how much $$ did your total paint job come to? They did a GREAT job!

Awsome pics. Perp work will ALWAYS make a huge difference. And that goes for whatever you do from painting to engine work. Open yourself a ice cold beer cause you deserve it. SWEET RIDE!!!!!

The car looks great!!! All of the prep work is a royal pain, but it certainly makes a tremendous difference.

Your car looks great - no doubt the trim removal and detail work paid off. Good job. Remember, no wax for 6 - 8 weeks, just wash with cold water (I believe that is the standard advice).
