Compression ratio? 1800 1973

I have a 1973 1800ES with a B20F engine, what is an appropriate compression ratio for it? I'm going to run a compression test and want to know where it should be.

Thank you,
Colin Spikes

Compression ratio is 8.7:1.

At cranking speed, this will read *roughly* 140-160 lbs on the gauge. Compression tests are not quantitatively accurate at all -- what's important is that you get fairly consistent reading from all cylinders.
