Experts needed! Two dead cylinders. 700

hello gurus (hopefully)!
Your help is needed. I'm looking for advise regarding the problem I have with my 1988 744 Turbo with 244k. Problem is that cylinders 2 and 3 are not working. I can pull the spark plug wire off 2 and 3 and nothing changes but both cylinders have spark. I've tried different plugs and wires and nothing changed. All tune up parts are new (within the last month). Everything checks out fine but the car still runs only on cylinders one and four. There is ignition going to all cylinders, all injectors are working properly, fuel delivery system is in spec, there are no vacuum leaks and compression is fine. What do I check next? I don't know what I should be looking for as everything seems to be ok. I've checked the basics a million times. Things I'm considering are power stage, ignition module and hall sensor connection and I'm rather unfamiliar with all three. This is the car I use (normally) to go to work so I'm trying to identify the issue asap. Thanks so much.

well I had a similar problem and found the number three injector resister in the resister pack was bad it is located in the inner driver side wheel well white resisters with green gold wire that plug into green wires. check the connections and like said previous check the fire order from the exhaust side start with number 4-3-1-2.

What do the plugs look like? Fouled? Just old and burnt?
I like John's suggestion- make certain the firing order is right.

Something comes to mind. Could you have the spark plug leads for cylinders 2 and 3 exchanged? Everything you specified could be working, but if those two leads are swapped, there will be no power.

How did you verify fuel injector operation? What work have you done on the car?

If the engine runs on cylinders 1 and 4, you are wasting your time to check the Hall effect, power stage and ignition module.

Compression check of the cylinders. If it passes that, then check the ignition rotor.
