Problem with my ventilation system 900 1991

I have a 1991 940 SE which has a ACC climate controller. When I turn on the blower fan, I hear it running but there is no air coming out of the various discharge ports. I checked and replaced the two check valves in the engine
compartment but it did not help. The AC system was recently converted to R-134a with new a compressor and a new blower fan was installed. I can't find anything on the 900 FAQ regarding this specific problem.

Can someone shed some light on this problem.

Thanks.

Problem with my ventilation system 900 1991

I'd bet money that the wrong blower fan was installed. The fins are probably oriented the wrong way, or less likely, it's running backwards. I know there are at least 2 types of squirrel-cage fans, because when I replaced my fan last summer I also got the wrong one. If you still have the old unit compare it to the new one and I'm sure you'll see the difference.
