A/C compressor not kicking in... 700 1986

There is no juice coming to the A/C compressor.
Fuses are all fine. What should I check next ?
What is correct voltage supposed to be ?

If there is no (low) charge in the system, there won't be any current to the compressor. If you haven't checked that, it is the first place to start troubleshooting.
